White Chicks
Narrative Expectations:
- The first shot is an overview of the city and an establishing shot of the surroundings around the city.
-The background music compliments the rundown, rough neighbourhood. The transport is very rundown.
-Zooms in to a convenient store, with a black male dancing around with a cigar in his mouth.
-A group of thugs walk in wearing identical white shirt along with smart blue trousers
-Then another balck male appears and both men dance around with marracas
-All of a sudden the black males rip their moulded faces off and flash FBI badges
-The thugs and agents begin to fight
Shot Types:
-Lots of ECUs and CUs to show the characters talking and touching objects.
-ESs and zooming in to show the overview of the city.
-The ECUs exaggerate the facial expressions on the agents faces while they are undercover
Character Types:
-We are made to think that the two black males are foreign citizens who are making a living working in a convenient store, however as we go further into the opening we see that they are FBI agents.
-The thugs are presented as ice-cream deliverers however they are drug dealers.

Narrative Expectations:
-There is text which opens the movie 'The curse gathers in that place of Death, Those who encounter it will be consumed by its fury'
-The first visual imagery is of a bridge with people going to their daily jobs.
-A white male wearing a grey t-shirt standing on a balcony of his apartment.
-A female is in bed wearing a white top and in white bed sheets.
-The male jumps off the balcony
Shot Types:
-An overhead shot which sets the scene
-Over the head shot is used to create mystery about the character
-ECUs and CUs are used to express the emotion on the characters face
Character Types:
-The white male character has come across as disturbed as if something deeply bothering him. It is early in the morning and he is wearing clothes from the night before.
-The female characters body language implies that she had just woken from sleep and she is a very worried lady.
